Steve Cooper’s woes continue as Fulham beat Nottingham Forest

Alex Iwobi and Raul Jimenez were on fire as Fulham crushed Nottingham Forest with a 5-0 Premier League triumph at Craven Cottage. Tom Cairney also got on the scoresheet as the Cottagers bounced back from their tough loss at Anfield. The pressure was on Forest boss Steve Cooper as his team suffered their fourth straight defeat.

Fulham took some time to get going after their heartbreaking defeat at Liverpool, but they eventually found their rhythm. They took the lead with a goal from Iwobi in the 30th minute, and quickly doubled their advantage with Jimenez finding the net in the 34th minute.

Jimenez was in top form, and he added a second goal in the 54th minute to make it 3-0. Iwobi then secured his own brace in the 73rd minute, before Cairney sealed the victory with a goal in the 86th minute.

The dominant performance from Fulham put Forest on the back foot and showed the Cottagers’ strength. It was a well-deserved win for Fulham as they displayed their attacking prowess and sealed the victory in style.
