Uefa reveals adjustments to Women’s Champions League and second European tournament

UEFA executive committee has approved a new format for the Women’s Champions League! Starting in 2025/26, the league will expand to 18 teams and have a home and away match format in the league phase, followed by knockout stages. Additionally, a second European competition for women’s clubs will also be introduced. The competition has faced criticism, especially regarding the qualification system, which saw top teams like Arsenal and Manchester United bow out early. But changes are on the way, and as more improvements are made, the competition is set to become even more exciting for players and fans alike!
