Jacob Brown’s decisive goal helps Luton clinch an important victory against Crystal Palace

Luton secured their second Premier League victory of the season in dramatic fashion as substitute Jacob Brown’s late goal sealed a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Kenilworth Road.

Teden Mengi put Luton in the lead with 18 minutes remaining before Michael Olise quickly equalized for Palace. But Luton fought back, with Brown scoring the winning goal seven minutes from time.

The hosts dominated possession early on, but Palace had their chances, with Eberechi Eze and Jeffrey Schlupp testing the Luton goalkeeper. However, Luton’s organized defense kept Palace at bay.

After an injury to Palace’s Cheick Doucoure early in the second half, Luton took control of the game. They eventually took the lead through Mengi’s goal, and although Palace quickly equalized, Luton continued to press forward.

Ogbene’s cross from the right set up the winning goal for Brown, who capitalized on a defensive error to secure the victory for Luton.

The win gives Luton hope in their fight for Premier League survival. With the team showing resilience and determination, they will look to build on this victory in their upcoming matches.
