Hany Saeed: Displeased with the refereeing performance.. and waiting for Pyramids FC management decision to file a complaint.

Hani Said, the sporting director of the Pyramids Club, spoke about his team’s match against Zamalek, which ended in favor of the white team in the semi-final of the Egypt Cup for the 2022-2023 season.
Hani Said said in statements on “Sada Al-Balad” screen: “There is dissatisfaction with the refereeing performance, the referee may make decisions that affect the outcome of the match.”
He added, “Of course, we feel sad and distressed. (Why should I play with one less player because of a refereeing mistake? Why should I have one less player and why was one of our players sent off?) The first yellow card for Ahmed Tawfik is not deserved.”
As for Pyramids Club’s position on filing an official complaint against the referee, he replied, “We are waiting for the board’s decision on whether to file an official complaint or not.”
Referee Ahmed Al-Ghandour managed the match between Zamalek and Pyramids, where he expelled Ahmed Tawfik, a Pyramids player, after receiving two yellow cards.
Zamalek reached the final of the Egypt Cup after defeating Pyramids on penalties (4-3), as the match ended in the original and extra time with a score of (3-3).
It is worth mentioning that Zamalek will face Al-Ahly in the final of the Egypt Cup for the 2022-2023 season, next March.

He criticized the referee’s performance, particularly regarding the unjustified first yellow card for Ahmed Tawfik, and stated that they are waiting for the club’s decision on filing an official complaint. The match, which ended in a 3-3 draw, saw the expulsion of a Pyramids player following two yellow cards. Zamalek will now face Al-Ahly in the final.
